Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.
The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. The most common schedule is 9 amβ5 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Ann Arbor is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Ann Arbor follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Dr. Rehemtulla and Dakota (licensed professional apart of the practice) her current dental assistant (at least I was told she was the assistant) refused to give my crowns to me after I had paid for them; canceled appointments without me knowing it; Dr. Rehemtulla forgot to read my Xrays I had to remind her halfway through the visit that she needed to do her job; She didn't wear gloves on my last visit during a dental procedure I was having (hands inside mouth); I also heard conversations between her and Dakota, her dental assistant(licensed professional who works here) about Dr. Rehemtulla hurting other patients, while they were doing a dental procedure on me. They discuss other patients they have, a lot, their dental issues, treatments, and their names are even mentioned. I was once asked if I was related to someone who comes to her practice! This violates confidentiality, is not allowed, and is unprofessional. One time while explaining my dental care to me Dr. Rehemtulla actually started laughing uncontrollable-It made me so uncomfortable (I had never seen her do anything like that before, very bizarre and strange behavior and again extremely unprofessional). She also will not r

I was in from NY, visiting family in Ann Arbor for the holidays, when my temp crown came out. I called here (close to closing) and was quickly taken care of in less than an hour. Doctor and staff are super friendly, charming, and professional. If I do decide to appease my mother and move back to Michigan, this is gonna be where I get my teeth taken care of. Might pull one out just to come backβ¦

Dr. Kakarla and Kristie are absolutely wonderful professionals. I am not a fan of dental work like many and was left in a bind when my long time dentist who I was comfortable with retired abruptly. I by chance ended up going with Huron Dental because they could get me in. I needed to finish some work and turns out needed some upsetting cavities filled. All together it will be 6 appointments I'm done with 4. They called me when other appointment times opened up, taken special care when I was nervous, and just been generally wonderful. The most striking thing other than their comfortable personalities, was that they would give me breaks they may not be long but it was enough to get me through the appointment and if they had an appointment behind me that just meant maybe we wouldn't get as much done but they never rushed me or kept going if I needed a break. I highly recommend this office!

I have been going to this dental office for the last 22 years, since I was a kid! I absolutely love Dr. Rehemtullah. She is so sweet, so kind, so knowledgeable, and so patient in explaining all the details of what her patients need to know. I am so grateful to have such an amazing dentist for my whole family. All of her staff are amazing as well, from the receptionists to the dental hygienists. They are all very professional, thorough, and kind. It is always a pleasure visiting Huron dental center.
